Welcome back! If you haven't already, click here to see how I set up my own solar power system at home. It really cut my energy costs, and it's pretty easy to do, too. Thanks for visiting!

Green energy is gradually gaining popularity in these present times due to the fact that the economic crisis has placed much emphasis on the extensive use of expensive fossil fuel products. It seems that many people are starting to see that actively harnessing natural sources of energy can create useful renewable energy that may be able to sustain the needs of civilization for a very long time.

There are places where solar panels have been distributed to remote areas by many non-profit organizations in order to give people access to solar heat and light sources for their needs day by day. Solar energy is popular globally due to a lot of exposure in the media by such groups who are trying to promote solar panels as one of the most viable types of energy sources.

Wind farms take up a large portion of areas where there are strong wind speeds, especially in coastal areas that have high altitudes. Wind turbines generate power by harnessing the wind to run the generators mechanically, taking advantage of increasing wind velocities.

The earth’s core generates heat that can be harnessed, and this is known as geothermal energy, usually tapped from areas where the heat is more evident such as volcanic rock and other unstable geological locations in several different countries. This energy can be found in areas that have hot springs or underground steam sources.

Water is also a source of energy and this can take the forms of hydropower, hydroelectric power, ocean energy, kinetic energy. Even when water is slowly flowing, it can still produce a lot of energy, and this has been a main source of many electric power plants all over the world.

Fossil fuels can pollute the air significantly with the by-products derived from their use, as well as the consumption of water and waste water production that can harm small plant life and animal life. The toxic wastes that have accumulated over the generations of using these fuels are beginning to show in the rapid destruction of many natural resources that threaten the very existence of all of earth’s inhabitants.

Renewable energy can be of great benefit if used extensively so that the use of fossil fuels can be reduced. By doing so, the growth of pollutants being sent into the air will be stopped and hopefully other solutions to clean out the air will be addressed.

There are many alarming health issues that arise from the air pollution that exists in many cities and countries today. Mostly, children are affected as this aggravates asthma symptoms in their delicate lungs and can lead to gradual death. The small particles that are polluting the air also have been known to cause deaths by heart and lung diseases. Unlike fossil fuels, renewable energy sources have little, if at all any, by-products that can pollute air or water, and these are considerably safer to use.

As the financial crisis finds itself at a turning point and hopefully heading for recovery, the restructure of policies should be a welcome change for many who only wish to save money on having to pay for expensive solutions to get rid of already existing pollution issues. Renewable alternative energy, by being natural and consistently available, has shown its potential in cost efficient power production.

It’s possible to run your business through more innovative ways by utilizing green energy inventions like wind power and other alternative energy solutions that make your process more environmental and efficient!

If you are the type of “environmentally conscious” person who wants to save yourself a ton of cash while also doing your bit to “save the planet” then you need to do yourself and the world a small favor and download the Earth4Energy Guide. Why? Because it will give you with all of the information you need to build windmills or solar panels on your own.

Earth 4 Energy provides step by step instructions on building solar panels and windmills. Whether you decide to build solar panels or windmills is up to you, but depending on where you live one or the other may make a lot more logical sense.

Of course if you live in a really sunshiny city such as Tucson, Arizona then you will likely want to go the solar panel route. But if you live somewhere where there’s not much sun then you’ll most likely want to go the windmill route.

Regardless of which method you use, you will be able to construct your green electricity generator for less than $200 which is really quite an amazingly good deal when you think about how much cash you will save on your electricity bill monthly. And if you can generate extra power you can sell the extra stuff back to the electric company and make some money!

It’s understandable if this sounds “too good to be true” but the great thing is that the Earth4Energy guide is 100% satisfaction guaranteed and it has a 60 day cash back period for refunds which means if you try it out and you are not completely happy with the guide, you can very easily get your money back in your hands.

You really have absolutely nothing to lose by trying Earth4Energy out. On the other hand, you have plenty to gain. You will be doing your part to stop global warming (you will be “greener” than Al Gore himself!) and you will also be saving a ton of cash.

Along with Downloading Earth4Energy you may also want to check out this EcoVillage in Southwest Virginia.

A Bright Future For Solar Energy: An Alternative Energy Source

August 31, 2010

I was first introduced to solar energy in the movie, Race the Sun with James Belushi and Halley Berry in the lead. It was a story about low- income and under achieving Hawaiian students encouraged by their teacher to join the Solar Car race. In the movie, a car shaped like a cockroach and covered with solar panels used the sun’s rays as an alternative energy source to run the car.

The Price Of Solar Panels Is Declining

August 29, 2010

The cost of solar panels will become more affordable in the foreseeable future. This is due partly because of new research found that extends the life of a solar panel. Once expected only to last 20 years, new results found that the true life expectancy of solar panels is 30 years. This will encourage more consumers to choose this kind of renewable energy as an alternative to traditional electricity grids.

How Solar Power Has Slowly Been Adopted

August 24, 2010

The adoption of solar power in the United States has been excruciatingly slow. The primary reason cited is the high price of solar energy components. A valid argument…until you look at the cost of not adopting solar energy, rising fossil fuel costs, and economies of scale to bring down price.
